This afternoon between school subjects, a small piece of paper folded into a tent mysteriously appeared on the dining table. One side read, "Tip." The other side:
"I gave you this because you make me food, you're nice to me, and you let me live here."
It was from Jonathan. Underneath the tent was $1.00 in quarters.
Jordan's interest was immediately piqued, and he quickly slipped out of the room to grab his wallet and deposit a tip of his own under the little tented card. Apparently he appreciates his dear mommy even more--he left me $1.02.
